Truck 53 was one of Van den Bosch's first bulk trucks. This striking Volvo F86-42S3 was built in 1977 and used for bulk transport of cattle feed.
The truck marks the beginning of a new era, when bulk transport became our company's core business. In the following years, our fleet was expanded with more and more bulk trucks.
After serving the company for years and years, Truck 53 was sold to an agricultural company in Keldonk. Later, Peter van den Bosch decided to buy the truck back and have it fully restored. On the occasion of the acquisition in 1998, Peter gifted the truck to his father Ad.
Truck 53 is still part of the collection of vintage cars and is a lasting reminder of our company's fine history.
